On 1st September 2021 MCI hosted the online seminar “Protecting the future of Maldivian coral reefs” presenting two of our very first research projects.

Following the presentations we held a panel discussion moderated by award winning journalist Zaheena Rasheed, with MCI scientists and guest speakers Dr. Kathryn Mengerink (Waitt Institute), Maldives Marine Research Institute (MMRI), Dr. David Obura (CORDIO/ IUCN/ University of Queensland), and Shaha Hashim (Blue Marine Foundation).
